THE KILBY INTERNATIONAL AWARDS IN LONDON

London, England - October 7, 2003 - Five extraordinary new Kilby Laureates will be celebrated in London, England on Friday, November 7, 2003. The first part of the celebration will be a series of lectures at the Royal Society (the world's most prestigious Academy of Science) from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. That evening, the celebration will continue with a Grand Dinner, Toasting, and Awards Ceremony at the Reform Club.

KICKOFF FOR 2003 BROADCAST SERIES TO BENEFIT UNDERSERVED STUDENTS

Dallas, Texas - March 2, 2003 - On April 2nd the Kilby Awards Foundation continues its pilot program to provide live interactive video-broadcasts which engage underserved high school students with extraordinary role models from the worlds of science, technology, innovation, invention, and education. The 2003-2004 Broadcast Series is dedicated to the celebration of Jack St. Clair Kilby's 80th birthday.

KILBY AWARDS FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES OCTOBER 2nd VIDEO-BROADCAST BENEFITING AREA STUDENTS

Dallas, Texas - September 21, 2002 - The Kilby Awards Foundation announced plans for a series of live interactive video-broadcasts which engage underserved high school students throughout the world with extraordinary role models from the worlds of science, technology, innovation, invention, and education. The first broadcast of the Foundation's "International Champions of Creativity," series will be on October 2 at the Wyndham Anatole Hotel, Dallas, Texas.

KILBY AWARDS FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES NINE INTERNATIONAL LAUREATES

Dallas, Texas - October 15, 2000 - The Kilby Awards Foundation, whose namesake Jack St. Clair Kilby was named recipient of the Nobel Prize for Physics this week, is pleased to announce the nine Kilby International Laureates for the Tenth Anniversary year 2000.

Dallas, Texas - July, 2000 - Jack Kilby and Kilby Laureates - Tim Berners-Lee, Steve Wozniak and Vinton Cerf - are included in a portrait of individuals influencing the browsers revolution in the July 2000 issue of Vanity Fair. Others in the portrait and article include: Paul Allen, Douglas Englebart, Bill Gates, Andrew Grove, Bill Hewlett, Steve Jobs, Tom Perkins, Arthur Rock and Linus Torvalds. The theme of the portrait feature is entitled, "Gods of the Internet 1950 - 2000: A Historic Portfolio of Technology Pioneers."

INTERNATIONALLY ACCLAIMED KILBY LAUREATES INTERACT AS ROLE MODELS WITH APPALACHIAN YOUTH

Somerset, KY - July 14, 1999 - Renowned scientists, economists, and technology innovators are sharing their time and talents with young people in a cross-country partnership between the Kilby Awards Foundation and The Center for Rural Development. The Foundation has teamed up with Rogers Scholars, a project of The Center, which offers training opportunities to high school juniors from the Appalachian region of Kentucky. During the intensive one-week sessions, forty-eight students will take classes in leadership, engineering, computer networking, video production, web page development, and small business skills.

KILBY AWARDS SELECTED FOR TOP HONORS BY INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF DISTINGUISHED AWARDS

Dallas, Texas - In 1999, The Kilby International Awards have been selected as one of the world's most distinguished awards and cited in the official roster of The International Congress of Distinguished Awards, which includes 116 awards selected from a five year study of 26,400 awards worldwide.
